The London Anime Con returns to the capital this July 20-21st and the Alt Entertainer is going to be there!
There will be screenings of titles such as Bleach the Movie 4 and Sword of the Stranger to satiate your cravings for film as well as voice actors Mike Pollock (Yu Gi Oh, Pokemon) and David Vincent (Bleach, Code Geass) popping in to answer your questions and sign your treasured goods.
For those of you who enjoy your anime a little more interactive, do not fear, London Anime Con has you covered. Twelve of the best cosplay stars in Europe will be present to show their latest cosplays and you will be able to join them and show off your own skills in the Cosplay Masquerade. This is sure to be one of the highlights of the whole event!
Gaming has always been a central pillar to the Con and this year is no exception. With 40 different set-ups and 100 titles to choose from, everyone will be catered for. Many of the biggest names in gaming with be present including GAME, Konami and Namco-Bandai, who will be making their new title ‘Tales of Xillia’ available to play ahead of its official launch. Amazing!
All filmed and gamed out? Then head over to hear some of the awesome music on offer this year. Yamma-B of Japanese Power Metal band Galneryus will be present as will others such as Legend in Japan, Suffering Silence and Of Fire and Fate. Kitty Brucknel (of X-factor fame) will be performing her burlesque rock act and With Ether will play some of most loved theme tunes in video gaming history from titles such as Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid.
This isn’t just an event for the day time though. In fact the party only really comes alive after 8pm. DJ TasukiDaisuki and DJ Genkiboi are lined up for the Saturday night and Sunday is aiming to go out on a high with a live Final Fantasy concert… Your guess is as good as mine…
