A local band to watch out for – Lacey

Nottingham’s new pop – punk band, Lacey, have just released their 3rd EP, Outlaws, and it’s certainly a must listen.

If you like Jimmy Eat World, Kids in Glass Houses or Bastille then you’ll love these guys too!

‘Outlaws’ consists of four astounding tracks (personally I love the song ‘Contender’).  Each song is a pop punk anthem with well-timed drum beats, a high standard of vocals and poetic lyrics.

This band is made up of four talented musicians, Graham Turner – Bass and Vocals, Josh Lewin – Guitar and Vocals, David Pearson – Drums and Vocals and Pete Maksymiw – Guitar. With a band like this it’s no surprise that Lacey have been so successful.

Their achievements so far include; headlining at the ‘Hit the Deck’ Festival this year, being featured on BBC radio introducing’s show ‘The Beat’ and even supporting ‘The Blackout’ on a recent tour.

‘Outlaws’ is available to buy from Lacey’s official website, It’s well worth the investment!

Keep your eyes and ears peeled for Lacey because they’re heading for bigger things!
