Competition time – win some amazing film related prizes!

We’ve joined forces with the BFI for a filmtastic competition. To mark  the BFI Southbank’s tribute to  Polish director Walerian Borowczyk they’ve put together a fantastic goody bag for you to win.

The goody bag includes:

  • Exclusive tickets to see The Margin at BFI Southbank, arguably Borowczyk’s most atypical film, introduced by film critic David Thompson, plus tickets to Borowczyk: A Forum where the legacy of Borowczyk will be discussed by season curator Daniel Bird.
  • DVD boxset Camera Obscura: The Walerian Borowczyk Collection courtesy of Arrow Films. This ground-breaking collection brings together Borowczyk’s key films from a 25 year period stretching from 1959 through to 1984. Not only are many of these films available on Blu-ray and DVD for the first time, but also in new digital high definition restorations approved by the director’s widow, Ligia Branice.
  • Borowczyk branded cloth shoulder bag and Oyster Card holder courtesy of Kinoteka Polish Film Festival.
  • A pair of weekend passes for the ICA’s Walerian Borowczyk Short Films Programme 24-25 May. The weekend of screenings offers a unique opportunity to see rarely screened short films by Walerian Borowczyk. The tickets include free entry to the ICA’s Fox Reading Room display Walerian Borowczyk: The Listening Eye, which features works on paper, wooden sound sculptures and rarely seen archival material.

To enter all of these amazing prizes, simply send an email with ‘Entertainer’ in the subject header to by 16 May 2014. Winners will be notified by email. Good luck!
