Jim Odin plays the Nuffield Theatre, Southampton

Jim Oin brought his own brand of observational humour to the Nuffield Theatre in Southampton on Sunday 12th Feb. Jim’s “renonsense man” show is a two hour romp of face bending, eye gurning, nonsensical, lyrical beauty.

Jim Threw in the odd humorous song, wife bashing and joke practice to a show that is perfectly non offensive, rarely makes sense and is wonderfully funny. This gig was obviously a warm up for the much bigger gigs on his upcoming world tour, but this is to be expected with such a big name in such a small venue. It took nothing away from the routine and the relaxed nature of the routine was perfect for the Sunday night slot.

The Nuffield Theatre lends itself wonderfully to comedy gigs and with luminaries such as Andy parsons, David O’Docherty, Sara Pascoe, Ruby Wax and Henning When gracing the venue on the Sunday night slot over the next few months, it would be ludicrous to miss out.
